Who we are
Pekerja Social Welfare Federation is a leading social organization, which has been providing services in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra for the last 4 years. The organization is working to reach the needy with the Central Government and State Government and other social welfare schemes.
By organizing camps from village level to urban areas, the organization is doing an important job of providing information about the schemes, free enrollment and benefits of the schemes to the citizens.
Vision
To create an equitable society that achieves social justice, economic stability and sustainable development, where every person gets the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government and the necessary tools to improve the standard of living are easily available.
Success Story
Pekerja Social Welfare Federation has organized camps in 210 + Gram Panchayats in 7 districts of Vidarbha under the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Scheme. The work was carried out with the cooperation of Gram Sevaks, Sarpanch, Upasarpanch and Gram Panchayat members in these camps.
Mission
1. To implement various welfare schemes of the Central Government, State Government and other socially useful schemes to the unorganized workers and needy people in rural and urban areas.
2. To organize camps and activities to create awareness about the schemes, free enrollment, and to get benefits.
3. To implement workshops, career guidance camps and scholarship schemes for students for educational, social and economic progress.
4. To provide necessary assistance to persons with special needs, women and weaker sections and to work for their empowerment.
5. To achieve overall development of the society by providing effective and transparent services in every Gram Panchayat and urban division of Vidarbha.
