Enrollment of Unorganized Workers

Free enrollment of 8000 workers.

Distribution of total scholarships of ₹12 lakh to children of 240 workers

Assistance of ₹15,000 per woman for delivery to 40 women, total assistance of ₹6 lakh.

Financial assistance of ₹2 lakh per family to 10 families after the death of workers, total assistance of ₹20 lakh.

Scholarship of up to ₹12 lakh to 12 medical students.

Promotion of the Central Government's 'E-Shram' scheme: Enrollment of 2500 workers.

Work for the disabled: Identity cards were provided to 700 disabled persons.

Ladki Bahin Scheme: Enrollment of 700 women in Nagpur district.

Ramai Gharkul Scheme: 40 needy people were provided houses.

Educational and Career Guidance: Under the organization, free study sessions are run for students. Also, various educational and career guidance camps are organized regularly.

Health Check-up Camps

Pekrja Social Welfare Federation organized 8 health check-up camps to take care of the health of the citizens of the slum area. In these camps, various check-ups and health advice were given in collaboration with local doctors and healthcare experts.

Diabetes, blood pressure, and heart disease check-up.

Maternity and health advice for women.

Child health check-up and vaccination.

Distribution of free medicines for common diseases.

Objective

To create health awareness among the public along with physical health check-up and early diagnosis of serious diseases.

Outcome

More than 1000 citizens benefited from the camps. They got information about medical advice, medicines and treatment.

Training for Handicraft Artisans

Pekrja Social Welfare Federation provided 100 women with handicraft training and skill-based employment opportunities. The objective of this initiative was to encourage women to become economically independent and entrepreneurship.

Training Topics

Training in traditional handicraft techniques.

Designing products and preparing them for sale.

Developing handicraft businesses by identifying market demand.

Outcome

100 women successfully completed the training and started their own handicraft business.

This increased confidence and financial stability among local women.

Job Fairs and Job Placements for Studentss

In collaboration with First Fly Corporate Services, Pekerja Social Welfare Federation provided employment opportunities to over 2200 students.

30+ companies from various sectors participated, which provided opportunities for students for various positions

More than 2200 students were provided employment in Sambhajinagar MIDC areas.

Many were able to avail training and employment opportunities.

Outcomes

Job fairs provided employment opportunities to local unemployed youth.

The gap between companies and local youth for employment was reduced.

There was a positive change in the economic situation of the local community.
